ABOUT

Dillon Shea is an illustrator and designer currently living in Philadelphia, and got his bachelor degree at the University of the Arts . And that is "Butch" in the picture. He's had many hamsters; Squeaky, Whiskers, Fluffy, Teddy, Cuddles, and then Butch. Butch was interesting. Ever since he was little, he could be found doodling on scrap paper to sketchbooks, and has never stopped since. When he is not illustrating or designing, he's usually with friends, out in the wilderness, or in local movie theaters.

He was also the third place winner in the Senior Thesis Ely Exhibition during his career at the University of the Arts for creating a short superhero styled comic book with an inspired look from the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels.

HISTORY ON dA (deviantART)...

Though deviantart is really a 'highschool era' of art, this is around the time when I was moving onto college.  Though I didn't really care that dA was called "deviantART" - I didn't really think of the title being a "deviant", I just saw hey, there is an art site, and I can finally make an art site, hence, these were my 'old accounts' that I had used on deviantART. DeviantART is old, but it is what it is, and I had somewhat of an interesting career, if you would really call that a career, during the deviantART years. A lot of it was 'fanart' - hence I was into a lot of cartoon shows...

Brawny-Butch,

The name Brawny-Butch comes from a cartoon network show, the Powerpuff Girls, where there were an arch nemesis of the Powerpuff Girls, the Rowdyruff Boys. For those who have lived on the internet, Rowdyruff.net, was a website that was hosted by King Moonraiser, a webmaster. It was a fan website dedicated to the Rowdyruff Boys fanart. Yes, I was a fan-artist back when I was a teenager. It was a fun thing to do.
